Science Laboratory

The school has well equipped science laboratories – Biology, Physics &Chemistry. At a time, 30 students can work here.

They get hands on learning experience by performing various experiments on their own and grasp each and every concept thoroughly. Every student actually performs the experiments individually, and not just watches a demo. School science laboratory equipments make teaching & learning easy, both for the teachers as well as for the students.

The goal of laboratory includes developing scientific practical skills, keen observation power, hones the sensory powers and reasoning abilities, increasing understanding of complexity and nature of science to make it simple. A good laboratory gives students the opportunity of exploring and experimenting keeping all safety rules in mind.

Under science department following activities are conducted
1. School science exhibition –

Every year school organizes science exhibition for the students of the class III to Class XII.It is important for school to develop a scientific sprit and curiosity among the students which in turn makes them to think and creatively find solutions to the challenges. Students enjoy learning through such exhibitions and feeling sense of belongingness as they make their own model. Science exhibition provides a platform of exposure to the students. Through this activity students learn to express themselves in public which also helps in building self-confidence.

Our students participated in Taluka level, District level and Inspired award science exhibition/competitions. Many times our students win Taluka level and District level prizes for their models as well as in debates, elocutions and quiz competitions.

2. Star Gazing programme

Our school was the first to start Star Gazing programme  in PurandarTaluka, after acquiring its first highly sophisticated telescope.

Every year it is organised with thecollaboration of IUCCA in the month of March for the students of class VIII to XII. Star Gazing with student is a fun way to enjoy the night sky plus it enhances their love for science. It’s also a step towards raising thoughtful introspective, universe conscious people. Through this students  get practical knowledge about different planets from our Solar system and different constellations.
