Principal Thought

                         I chant it as often as I can for the people around me (family members, friends, teachers, students). Probably Charles Darwin also wanted to include fitness of the mind and the spirit along with physical fitness when he talked about ‘Survival of the Fittest’. To be fit in all respects implies an overall development of a child into a good human being, a good citizen of the society, a patriot who will think of the interests of the country before anything else, and will be capable of living independently. A Shivajian should be able to provide support to fellow creatures, and that is what we strive for in Shivaji English Medium School.

On one hand the students bow down and touch the feet of the elders on receiving a prize and on the other, all are encouraged to be up front with the latest technology so much that it is at their beck and call.

Another aspect of my ‘mantra’ is to inculcate a habit of being true to one self in ones work. This always leads to total fearlessness and evolves the person into a strong and beautiful human being. Such a person always thinks positively, positive thoughts attract positive energy which leads to every thing fruitful and happiness all around.
